Milwaukee Select Girls Fall Ball

Milwaukee Select Girls team will be playing in the Chitown Showdown in Evanston, IL on Saturday, October 16th. The girls team will be taking on some of the top talent in the area. Coach Adey is excited about the opportunity to play more games this fall. The Sunday women's lacrosse will serve as a great way to prepare for the tournament. There may be some openings on the team due to fall sports conflicts. The tournament will be run by Lakeshore Lacrosse out of Chicago.

NDP Tournament of Champions

Milwaukee Select U16 and U18 have received invitations to the NDP Tournament of Champions in Wesley Chapel, FL over the New Years weekend. This will be a great opportunity to match up against top talent from around the country and Canada.

Milwaukee Select Fundraisers

The Milwaukee Select U18 team will be headed to Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions in Westley Chapel, Florida from December 30th to January 2nd. The tournament will be run on December 31st, January 1st & 2nd.There will be a number of fundraising events to help them raise money for their trip to the National Championship. Here is how you can support them as well.

Milwaukee Select 2010

The Milwaukee Select is a summer travel team that allows players from the Milwaukee area to compete in team camps and tournaments. We will field three boy's teams consisting of U19, U18, U16 and one girl's high school team. Players of all levels are encouraged to tryout for the summer program. It is a great opportunity for lacrosse players to measure their ability, play against some top talent from across the country and develop relationships with players outside of their school from the greater Milwaukee area. Our goal is to give the players the knowledge and experience to succeed at the next level.
Tournaments for the summer will include

The Denver Shootout on June 18th-20th
Brewtown Showdown June 26th & 27th
Gait Cup in Gettysburg, PA July 1st-4th
Midwest Challenge at Notre Dame University July 9th-11th & 23rd - 25th(U16)
Indian Prairie Showdown July 30th - August 1st.
NDP Tournament of Champions - Wesley Chapel, FL - December 31st to January 2nd.

Team costs will include tournament entry fees, some transportation fees and lodging, uniform, coaching, practice fees and team gear. Helmets will be extra. Travel arrangements will need to be arranged. Team fundraisers will be available periodically throughout the year. Working the Brewtown Showdown on June 26th & 27th is one of the key fundraisers.
Cost for the teams will be Girls - $550, U19 Blue - $450, U16 - $1,500 and U18 Gold -$2,100.

2010 Tournament Schedule

Milwaukee Select will be fielding three boys teams and one girls team this summer. The boys teams will be for U19 Blue for high school grads and rising seniors, U18 Gold for rising juniors and seniors and U16 for rising freshmen and sophmores. The girls team will open to rising freshman to seniors.

Each tournament has a set fee that needs to be paid through team registration. Some will require individual registration due to the nature of the college recruiting.

Tournament Updates

7/18: U18 team wins the Chicago Challenge - Select U18 went undefeated for the three day team camp winning the Midwest bid to play in the Tournament of Champions in Wesley Chapel, Florida over new years.

7/11: U16 team goes 6-1 at Chicago Challenge. Strong showing in Chicago garnered much respect and adminiration. The blue Eagles loss came to the Prairie Satte team they beat the night before. Prairie State was the champion of the tournament.
